The Asian market is a major influence on the world’s titanium industry, consumption is growing steadily driven mainly by the industrial sector and less prone to the cyclical demands of aerospace as the European and U.S. markets.
Japan is a major force on the world’s titanium stage, new sponge capacity is coming on stream to meet growing levels of consumption and growth remains strong. China is rapidly developing both its production of sponge and mill products to meet the booming domestic demand and supply a growing export market and UKTMP in Kazakhstan, a major supplier of sponge to world markets, is developing its downstream added value capacity. In short the region’s titanium industry is undergoing rapid development.

Crocus City Expo Center meet the highest international stands. The pavilions are equipped with modern air conditioning systems, electricity and water supply systems and the whole complex provides convenient infrastructure. Contemporary technical facilities allow increasing spaces and fulfilling the most challenging designer ideas bringing the exhibition to a higher level. There are spacious registration halls, cafes, restaurants, service centers, and parking lots at the exhibition complex. Soon a complex of hotels and a business center will be built there. Free shuttle buses are cruising from Strogino metro station to the fairground. Another metro station Myakininskaya will be open next year.
The infrastructure of the exhibition complex provides a good opportunity to set up and demonstrate heavy equipment and machines in operation ensuring increase in number of exhibitors due to participation of companies from related industries such heavy machine-building, machine-tools building, as well as the mining industry.
Metal-Expo management has already begun arrangement of exposition of Metal-Expo’2008. The exhibition is the main site for promoting of metal and steel products, innovative solutions for machine-building and engineering in the Russia market, one of the most developing markets in the world. The forum is always attended by many heads of major Russian and international metal and steel companies, heads of governmental bodies responsible for the metal and steel industry, and delegations from all over the world.
